idea

This chair begins with a rejection of the static nature of domestic furniture.
Most pieces occupy a single room, serving a narrow purpose. Here, the ambition was different. How can one well-made object serve across
multiple contexts within a home?
The idea of mobility became critical not as a theme, but as a performative condition: a piece that can shift from room to room, from reading posture to resting posture, from indoor quiet to outdoor sun. Mobility is not added as a feature at the end,
it is the fundamental lens through which the piece is conceived. The chair is
therefore imagined as a domestic tool: an investment in one obiect that expands its value by expanding where and how it is used.
