idea
Oak House is designed for a family of five—a couple, their daughter, and the parents. The brief was clear: minimalistic and timeless interiors that prioritize functionality. The home features earthy tones, oak wood accents, beige hues, and marble flooring in the living and bedroom areas, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.

build
The family’s love for hosting guests, the living area was designed to accommodate large groups. A strategically placed curved sofa between the TV unit and another seating area ties the living and dining spaces together. The dining area serves a dual purpose, with versatile chairs that can be used for additional seating when hosting.
To maximize living space, the breakfast counter was eliminated, and the dining area was repositioned. An open kitchen layout enhances the sense of space and connectivity throughout the home. A unique feature in the living room is the TV wall, where a flushed door seamlessly integrates with the shelving unit, creating a clean, cohesive design.
The shoe and pooja cabinet, positioned strategically in the plan, becomes the focal point of the home’s design and extends into the kitchen. Linen curtains allow natural light to filter through, offering brightness without the glare.
